Content Analyst launches CAAT 3.8
Email Threading extends previous email features
Reston, VA - September 1, 2010 – Content Analyst Company, a leader in advanced analytics and conceptual search for the document management, legal, and intelligence communities, announced today that it has released CAAT 3.8, Content Analyst's innovative document analytics software.
CAAT 3.8 adds email threading to the set of CAAT features aimed at email discovery and analysis. Previous releases include automated repeated content identification and filters, email header filters, deNISTing and similar document detection (also called conceptual near-dup). For email threading, CAAT identifies the relationships among a family of emails based on their content and associated metadata. CAAT email threading also identifies duplicate sets, inclusive sets, extracts and normalizes metadata, identifies missing email, and determines email order within an email conversation. Content Analyst's partners who integrate CAAT into legal review and other document-facing applications have long wanted to include email threading as an early part of their process; CAAT 3.8 provides an email threading capability to easily fit into existing workflows.
