Content Analyst Company was formed in 2004 to develop and market commercial applications of a proprietary technology that conceptually analyzes, organizes, and retrieves relevant information from large repositories of unstructured data.
From 1998 through 2000 at world-famous Bell Laboratories, an R&D program was conducted to apply a key new technology, called Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI), to provide superior advanced search capabilities. There was great interest from the US Intelligence Community and they became our first customers when we were part of SAIC, a key provider to the Washington D.C. public sector, who acquired this technology from Bell labs.
When SAIC went public in the mid-2000's, Content Analyst Company was spun-off to a private investor, and the company focused on commercials application for its technology. Content Analyst also continued development and innovation, submitting nearly a dozen patent applications beyond our early patents that extend and refine this core technology.
Today – Content Analyst Company's Content Analytics Platform, CAAT, is in its third generation of releases and has a wide following in various Intelligence Agencies and the Legal Community. Other markets include Brand Reputation Management, Compliance, and Forensics. CAAT provides our software partners with a competitive advantage, enabling them to rapidly gain insights from large data of unstructured content and fold that insight into their software solutions and applications.
