Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our small, but growing cross- functional team, dedicated to designing and building an advanced analytics SDK.
Participate in all aspects of software engineering, from research and design, implementation, and testing. We want a team player who can take on a challenging assignment, drive it to completion through research and communication with others, and make it happen with maintainable and high- quality code, good testing, and solid and integration with existing code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and write Java code for our advanced analytics SDK.
- Collaborate, design, and implement features for our analytics SDK.
- Write maintainable code, including unit and integration tests.
- Do peer code reviews.
- Improve upon our development process every sprint.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of Java programming experience. 10+ years is great too.
- Self-starting, detail oriented developer with good teamwork and communication skills
- Understand concurrent computing principles and programming in multi-threaded environments.
- Ability and commitment to good software testing and unit testing practices.

- Familiarity with Agile development principles using the Scrum methodology is a plus.
- A mathematical background or experience with search engine technology is a plus.
- Experience with REST, JSON, and Web Services is a plus.
- Experience with Hadoop, Scala, PostgreSQL, JDBC, C#, .NET is an extra bonus.
