CAAT SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS KIT (SDK)
CAAT, the Analytics technology from Content Analyst Company, is designed to be integrated into an application or solution quickly and easily. The technology components give partners a proven way to add advanced analytics to their offerings, just as if Content Analyst's engineering team was the "other team of experts down the hall." Our CAAT Software Developer's Kit provides the following:
- Exposes CAAT's advanced analytics technology with minimal overhead and dependencies.
- Provides well-documented web service Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for integrating CAAT technology with hosted or distributed applications.
- Validated by multiple clients as both "flexible and developer-friendly".
- Provides out-of-the-box connectors offering powerful and flexible ways to automatically ingest data into CAAT indexes from external sources (files, databases, web sites, etc.). Or develop your own custom connectors for ingesting data from custom data repositories and content management systems.
- Offers a variety of optional configurable data filters for performing preprocessing tasks such as extracting plain text from complicated file formats, removing stop-words, scrubbing HTML or email documents, removing invalid words from OCR text, and stemming or other forms of word normalization. Custom filters can also be developed to meet specific processing needs.
- Presents a sample CAAT user interface (UI) that serves as an excellent example of how the CAAT technology can be put to work. Also useful as an evaluation tool for the CAAT technology. (The CAAT UI is not intended for production use.)
- Includes installation guidelines, developer and operations guides containing helpful information about the CAAT system architecture and fundamental concepts, as well as detailed instructions on how to utilize the CAAT APIs to meet your specific needs. Detailed release notes accompany each new release of the CAAT software.
- Simple to install (and upgrade). The following 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems for x86 and x86-64 based hardware are officially supported and tested.
