With CAAT, the familiarity of keyword search and the power of concept search can be seamlessly combined into a single, advanced search function.
CAAT allows users to address the key question of: "How do I know what I don't know?" Users can employ standard features of keyword search parameters (i.e., Boolean-logic based) in combination with concept search – i.e., a textual description of a topic – and CAAT actually uses keywords as filters to quickly narrow search results. With CAAT's concept search feature, that textual description can be as a narrow as a few words or as broad as a full document – there is no size limit as to how large your search string can be.
CAAT's SDK includes a fully integrated Boolean search engine, to support keyword search features. Keyword searches and concept searches use completely different indexing schema, so CAAT keeps track of both indices as part of its administrative housekeeping, further speeding our partners' abilities to integrate CAAT into ground-breaking applications and solutions while offering a single, integrated search solution.
