Datacap Wordfire

The Challenge: the workflow for the documents Datacap’s products manage starts in the field – in addition to capturing documents and placing them into the workflow system, field operatives had the added burden of classifying those documents so the system could properly handle them: what is a mortage application, versus a certificate of insurance, etc., etc. The traditional approach was to either use separator sheets or manually code them. Both are time-consuming and costly. There had to be a better way.
The Solution: Content Analyst – Datacap incorporated Content Analyst into their exciting new Wordfire product, allowing their customers to let the Datacap solution “learn” about the documents they move through it, how they classify them, and letting the system “take over” once enough documents have been processed and Content Analyst has become sufficiently knowledgeable about their specific documents.
The resulting product is easy-to-use, almost invisible for Datacap users, is a huge time-saver, cuts coding errors to zero – and an added benefit is Datacap plans to offer a Content Analyst-based Conceptual Search option for Wordfire. Finally, classification and search indexing at inception, instead of down-the-road.
